About the Fund
United Palestinian Appeal empowers Palestinians to improve their lives and communities through socially responsible and sustainable programs in health, education, and community and economic development.
Established in 1978 in New York by Palestinian-American professionals, UPA was conceived as a non-political, non-sectarian organization that would help Palestinians meet their relief and development needs.
The emergency in Gaza has placed extreme stress on an already strained healthcare system. The escalation of Israeli bombardment has caused an unprecedented number of casualties and displaced people that are in desperate need of health services, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, shelter, food, water and trauma care.
UPA has been working in Gaza for the last 45 years and our teams on the ground are already addressing some of these urgent needs. We desperately need your support to continue our life-saving work.
