AFF GAZA APPEAL
About the Fund
Founded in 1917, the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a global Quaker organization that promotes lasting peace with justice. AFSC was among the first organizations doing relief work in Gaza. In 1949, the UN asked us to intervene and our staff have been present in Gaza since, responding to the needs of the community as a result of the ongoing Israeli wars and occupation.
In Washington DC, we advocate with the interfaith community and policymakers in Congress to address the roots of conflict, including historic and ongoing Palestinian displacement, occupation, and the reality of apartheid.
Our work in Gaza is crucial in providing relief and assistance to the most vulnerable members of the community, including youth, women, and the elderly. Your support ensures we can continue these efforts at these critical times.
