AVPN Conference 2015: Venture Philanthropy in Practice
April 20 – 23, 2015

The 2015 Annual Conference is a 3 day event that will be held in Singapore on 20-22 April 2015 at the National University of Singapore UTown campus. We will be welcoming delegates from our 170+ member organisations comprising venture philanthropy organisations, impact investment funds, private equity, wealth management, academic and grant-making institutions to this event, as we advance the practice of venture philanthropy in Asia. In addition, some of the world’s best known leaders from the social finance, business, governmental and academic sectors will be joining us to examine the latest developments in the philanthropic and social investment community.

The 2015 AVPN Conference brings our Knowledge Centre’s Capability Development Model (CDM) onsite for everyone to understand what doing venture philanthropy really means, and how you can do it better. The Capability Development Model consists of five practice areas mapping the entire cycle of social funding. To date, it draws on existing literature and insights from AVPN’s wide network of members. At the 2015 conference, we will unpack these areas further and discuss existing practices to zoom in on what is effective.
