Launched by the International Youth Foundation in 2011, BADIR provides a culturally relevant, Arabic/English-language centered leadership experience for young Jordanian social entrepreneurs, ages 18-30. To date, BADIR has equipped 89 youth-led ventures with training, mentoring, networking, funding, and advocacy opportunities. BADIR Fellows are members of IYF’s YouthActionNet global network of 1,700 young social entrepreneurs in 90 countries.
The 2017 BADIR Fellowship is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through a grant from the USAID Civic Initiatives Support Program implemented by FHI 360.
