USAID’s Health Policy Plus (HP+) project seeks to improve the enabling environment for equitable and sustainable health services, supplies, and delivery systems through policy development and implementation, with an emphasis on family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH), maternal and child health (MCH), and HIV and AIDS. It is expected that work across health policy, advocacy, financing, and governance, in a highly coordinated and collaborative approach and with attention to gender equality and equity issues, will be required to achieve the project purpose.
USAID is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from eligible U.S. based non-profit Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), for profit NGOs, private voluntary organizations (PVOs), Institutions of Higher Education/Universities, and Non-US Nongovernmental International Organizations. USAID strongly encourages applicants to propose creative collaborative partnerships with other U.S. and/or international organizations, Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), private voluntary organizations, and firms, especially small businesses, to implement activities under this program.
The closing date for applications is June 3, 2015, and the estimated total program funding award ceiling is $185 million.
